A Guitarist's Tale

Picture

Why did you do the project in the first place?
I was the cheapest option… ;)
Seriously though, it was great to be asked and I enjoyed the fact that I could work on a project without having to have any responsibility for the writing of the track…just come in and create some guitars on top…
Rob also writes a damn fine toon, too...he is a world class song-writer in my view, but for crying out loud, don't tell him I said that...!

What was it you liked about it all?
Same as above – be given pretty much a blank canvas to put guitars over…was a great creative challenge

What was the least enjoyable experience of the project?
Dealing with all the f*cking bizarre chords and keys!

What was the most enjoyable experience of the project?
Not having the responsibly of the entire album to deal with – being able to go in and do your bits and that’s it…

How much (or not!)  you enjoyed  the project?
Its was great – cannot wait to hear all the pieces together…
It is going to be an awesome album.

Which is your favourite track - and why? ie which are you  most looking forward to hearing in it's completed state!
The one with 'the' riff...Storm Chaser or Chasing Storms…I think that’s going to be a killer.

Anything else you can think of?!!
Great studio to work in…really nice vibe.
I also take my hat off to Rob for having the talent - and cajones! - to do this...

Finally - would you do it again?!!
Only for a greatly increased fee! ; )
