Rob 'Captain Blue' Cottingham

Captain Blue, who enjoys tickling the ivories and warbling, formed his motley crew of shipmates in January 2012 and likes to steer them in the good ship HMS Vantage through musical thick and thin; from the past to the future and back again; through weird and wonderful planetry genres.
He also enjoys running and Jamesons on ice.
And Marmite.
Not all necessarily at the same time.

Heather 'Lieutenant Pink' Findlay

Lieutenant Pink is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, song-writer, composer, wordsmith, artist and painter. She also makes the finest cup of cha in the Earth county of Yorkshire.
Having flown in the good ship Mostly Autumn for many years, she has peeled away in her solo shuttle to go on various exciting adventures, including supporting Captain Blue in his endeavours.
When the chips are down, Lieutenant Pink is the one who keeps the crew in order!
This is normally through the provision of copious amounts of tea and 'tea cakes'...which are not teacakes of the toasted variety with sultanas and melted butter on top (proper teacakes) but of the marshmallow covered in a thin chocolate coating and a biscuit base variety (not proper teacakes). If M&S can get it wrong, then Lieutenant Pink is allowed to get it wrong also, but do not tell her she is wrong, otherwise you my find 'tea cakes' travel to places no 'tea cake' has gone before...(and for good reason)...

Adam 'Commander Black' Hodgson

Commander Black is colloquially, and universally, known as a 'plank spanker'.
He spanks his plank in dark ways that no other spankers can.
This special power can come in handy when faced with aliens about to invade our planet. One yank of his whammy bar and he sends them running with rampaging riffs, phenomenal frequencies and fantastically fear-inducing feedback they simply can't handle.
He also enjoys movies and champagne.
Rumours that he moonlights by starring in shampoo adverts are firmly denied by the Commander.

Simon 'Sub-Lieutenant Purple' Page

Sub-Lieutenant Purple enjoys making weird deep noises at a sub-bass level. He also likes to use instruments to do the same.
He also enjoys food which includes subs. From Subway.
He can spot a buzz on a bass fretboard from many miles away and has been known to place bass guitars in places no bass guitar has been placed before, when music shop assistants don't quite 'get the message'...
He loves peas, too. One of his favourite phrases is 'give peas a chance'.

Gary 'Lieutenant Orange' O'Toole

Lieutenant Orange likes hitting big round drums - in fact anything -with bits of wood to make lots of noise. He also warbles, and not just in the shower...
He also enjoys Guinness, pizza and kicking the **** out of people via his orange belt in taekwondo.
In quieter moments, he likes to do the same thing, but more quietly. With Sub-Lieutenant Purple, they combine to make one power house of a rhythmic engine room, powering forward the good ship HMS Vantage.
